Almost the Same

“Real and not real, both either and or…” – Andrew Berardini

With these series, Crosher continues her exploration of the schism between the fantasy of an idea, a place, or a photograph and its reality. She plays with the fictions of documentary, creating an identity as she dismantles it, both empowering and erasing the woman that is Michelle duBois, someone who will forever remain slightly out of our reach.
